After a long winters break, business has started to pick up at the RMR shop. The 2012 season brought a pretty dramatic reduction in traveling races from the past few years and we expect to continue that trend for the 2013 season but there are some cool things happening close to home to look forward to.

Madison International Speedway has announced a new Triple Crown Series for the Super Lates with a rule package and race format that closely resembles events sanctioned by the highly successful ARCA CRA Super Series. After racing with the Super Series since 2007 and having the opportunity to participate in some of their biggest events, It’s exciting to see a local venue try to bring that type of Super Late Model racing back to the area and we are excited to be a part of that. Triple Crown Challenge dates are June 16, July 14, July 28, Sept. 8.

Other notable Super Late Model events at MIS include the ARCA Midwest Tour opener scheduled for May 8th and The ARCA CRA Super Series comes to MIS on August 11th. Visit the MIS website at http://www.madisoninternationalspeedway.com/ for event details and more information.

The team is tentatively planning to head to Anderson Speedway for the ARCA CRA Super Series opener on Saturday April 18th. Check the website or our Facebook page for more updates. Visit the new CRA Website at http://www.cra-racing.com/ for a complete schedule and event details.

In other news, we are excited to debut a new RCH/Pathfinder chassis at the Madison Triple Crown opener in June. Race Car Help owner Steve Strasburg recently completed the new front end updates on our Pathfinder chassis and the complete rebuild is now underway at our shop. Steve’s experience and new suspension technology coupled with the tried and true Pathfinder frame work should make for a pretty sweet combination. We expect to be ready for testing in May. Visit the RCH website at http://www.racecarhelp.com for more information about Steve and his products and services.

Finally, we are excited to announce RMR’s entry into the karting world with Nathan Maynor this summer at Badger Kart Club in Dousman. Kid Karts is an entry level division for kids 5-8 years old. We expect to do a lot of practicing throughout the summer and have him ready for competition this fall.

We have affordable sponsorship packages available for the Triple Crown Series at Madison and other select events. Please contact us through the website or our Facebook page for more information.
